Indian troops launch CASOs in Kupwara, Kulgam
Srinagar: Indian troops have launched a cordon and search operations in Kupwara and Kulgam districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation was launched by Indian troops in the Rajwar area of the Kupwara district.
An India police official told the media that on specific inputs a search operation was launched in Rajwar areas of Kupwara district.
He said that during the search operation, troops fired on a specific place which triggered an encounter.
Two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the incident, he claimed.
Meanwhile, Indian troops launched CASO in the Qaimoh area of Kulgam district this afternoon. Indian officials claimed to have detected an Improvised Explosive Device in the area.
