Modi has turned India into complete authoritarian state

New Delhi: In India, the Modi government has established a system in the name of democracy where only the language of the rulers is spoken and the Modi government’s clampdown on the judiciary, media and state institutions has turned India into a complete authoritarian state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the policies of the Modi government have made India a symbol of fascism instead of the largest democracy in the world.

Recently, senior Indian journalist Prem Shankar Jha wrote a detailed book on the Modi government, which tells the story of the decline of Indian democracy.

The book said that Modi, as Prime Minister, gradually turned India into a fascist state. According to the Indian magazine “The Wire”, Prem Shankar Jha has exposed the systematic attacks of the Modi government on the judiciary, media and federal structure.

As soon as Modi took over the government, he cancelled the Press Information Bureau cards of journalists, abolished free communication between journalists and the bureaucracy and imposed only the official narrative.

According to The Wire, decisions of ministries were taken on the advice of BJP nominees instead of government ministers.

Modi attacked the freedom of the press, stopped giving advertisements to the media and implicated journalists in false financial cases. The channel was paralyzed by accusing the founders of NDTV of tax evasion and money laundering and was eventually sold to the Adani Group and made the official mouthpiece.

Similarly, the loyalty of the judges of the judiciary was bought by offering them attractive positions after retirement. Former Chief Justice P. Satyashivam was made the Governor and AM Khanwilkar was made the Chairman of the Lokpal.

During his government, Modi never held a press conference or called a meeting of the National Development Council, replaced the Planning Commission with NITI Aayog and distributed development funds according to personal and party interests.

NITI Aayog is the policy-making body of the Modi government, which replaced the Planning Commission and became a means of political control over funds. The Modi government has turned dissent into a crime and journalism into slavery.

In India, the constitution, law and transparency have all been subordinated to the will of the Modi government.

Modi has turned institutions into bureaucracy and made India a laboratory for personal rule. Justice, freedom and truth are being killed in Modi’s India, while dissent is a crime, treason and speaking the truth is a crime.
