Press Club Muzaffarabad played vital Role in highlighting Indian atrocities in IOJK: Barrister Sultan

Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, has congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of the Central Press Club Muzaffarabad and appreciated the Club’s significant role in highlighting Indian atrocities in Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, Barrister Sultan, in a statement, said that the Central Press Club Muzaffarabad has upheld a legacy of responsible journalism and has always remained at the forefront in raising voice against the Indian oppression in IOJK and highlighting public issues in Azad Kashmir.

He expressed hope that the newly elected body of the Press Club would continue to play an active role at both national and international levels in projecting the plight of the oppressed people of IIOJK and advocating for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

The AJK President further stated that he hoped the new leadership of the Press Club would also strive to uphold journalistic values and ethics.

He congratulated the newly elected President Sajjad Ahmed, Senior Vice President Naseer Anwar, Vice President Tanveer Tanoli, Additional General Secretary Raja Khalid, Joint Secretary Shahzaib Afzal, Finance Secretary Ansar Siddique Khawaja, Information Secretary Mir Basharat, Secretary Ashfaq Hussain Shah, and all other elected members on their success.
