Amir Muqam chairs review meeting regarding preparations for Youm-e-Istehsaal on August 5

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit Baltistan & SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam chaired a review meeting regarding preparations for Youm-e-Istehsaal on August 5 and directed all the departments concerned to work in harmony to observe the day effectively.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the representatives of federal ministries, provincial governments, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir Government and various departments briefed the minister regarding preparations for “Youm-e-Istehsaal”.
Addressing the participants of the meeting, Amir Muqam said that the voice of the Kashmiris will be conveyed to the entire world and the Pakistani nation will continue to pursue the just settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
He directed all the relevant institutions to work together in harmony to observe Youm-e-Istehsal in an effective manner. He also advised ensuring maximum participation of the public.
He said that India’s actions since 5 August 2019 demonstrate complete disregard for international law, the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, and the UN Security Council resolutions.
The minister said that this year the importance of Youm-e-Istehsaal has become manifold due to Pakistan’s victory in Bunyanum Marsoos.
He said that Pakistan stands in solidarity with the brave Kashmiri people in their historic struggle to materialize their dream to accede to Pakistan despite facing brutal atrocities, discrimination and injustice at the hands of Indian occupying forces.
