APHC-AJK expresses deep grief over flood devastation in Pakistan

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the recent floods in Pakistan.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK Convener, Ghulam Muhammad Safi in a statement in Islamabad said that the devastating floods are not only a severe test for the affected families but also a moment of trial for the entire Pakistani nation. He said that natural calamities often test human endurance, but the history of Pakistan bears witness that its people have always faced hardships with patience, courage, and unity.
Ghulam Muhammad Safi said the APHC and the people of Jammu and Kashmir fully share the grief of their Pakistani brethren in this difficult time. “We stand shoulder to shoulder with the affected families, pray for the forgiveness of the deceased, speedy recovery of the injured, and early rehabilitation of the displaced people,” he added.
He maintained that the Kashmiri people can never forget the unparalleled sacrifices of Pakistanis, who have always supported their just struggle politically, diplomatically, and morally. “It is, therefore, natural that Kashmiris share the grief of the people of Pakistan when the country is struck by natural calamities,” he said.
