Indian forces kill four persons including women in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Indian paramilitary forces killed four members of the tribal community, including three women, in the BJP-ruled Maharashtra state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the tribal people were killed by Indian paramilitary forces during an operation in the Gadchiroli district of eastern Maharashtra.

The Indian police dubbed the victims as Naxal members, who had been demanding political justice and a separate state from Indian hegemony.

Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man, working as a ‘shikshadoot’ (temporary visiting teacher in government schools), was killed by gunmen in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district, the police said.
