APHC-AJK expresses grief over devastation, stands in solidarity with victims

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the massive devastation, loss of precious lives, and destruction caused by torrential rains, floods, and landslides in Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, in a statement issued in Islamabad, said the natural calamities have not only claimed numerous lives but also left thousands of families homeless and deprived of their belongings, livelihood, and shelter. He said the Hurriyat leadership fully stands in solidarity with the distressed people of Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and IIOJK in this difficult hour.
He urged the international community, human rights organizations, and particularly the Islamic countries to come forward with immediate assistance so that the displaced families could be rehabilitated and helped to rebuild their lives.
The APHC-AJK also appreciated the relief efforts being carried out by the Government of Pakistan, Army, and welfare organizations in the affected areas
