Free medical cards launched for religious leaders in IIOJK
Srinagar,: A prominent private hospital of Srinagar city, Ujala Cygnus Kashmir Super Specialty Hospital, in collaboration with Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema, occupied Jammu and Kashmir, launched free Health Cards for the ulema, imams, and muezzins of the territory during a special function held at Islamia Higher Secondary School, Rajouri Kadal, Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the cards were formally distributed by the President of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
In the first phase, ulema, imams, and muezzins of Srinagar city will benefit from this initiative.
It is to be noted that under this card, Ujala Hospital will provide not only these individuals but also their family members with free medical facilities, including necessary diagnostic tests and check-ups.
On the occasion, the officials of the said hospital, doctors, and a considerable number of dignitaries of the city were present.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, appreciating this initiative of the hospital, said in the present circumstances such steps are of utmost importance, and the greatest form of worship is serving humanity.
He expressed hope that other private hospitals of the valley will also take suitable and appropriate measures in this regard.
