Indian army soldier dies in grenade explosion in Poonch
Srinagar: An Indian Army soldier was killed in a grenade explosion in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased soldier, identified as Sepoy Bhavesh of the Rashtriya Rifles battalion, lost his life in an explosion at a sentry post inside an Indian Army camp in Surankote area of the district.
Indian Army officials told the media that the soldier was on sentry duty when the grenade reportedly exploded due to mishandling. He died on the spot.
