Indian forces continue raids on houses of activists in Srinagar

Srinagar: Indian forces’ personnel continued house raids and search operations for the third consecutive day, today, at the residences of activists in different areas of Srinagar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the forces’ personnel, acting under the New Delhi-installed administration and invoking draconian laws with impunity, targeted several houses of activists including Asrar Ahmad Bala, Shahbaz Ahmad Butt, Fayaz Ahmad Ganie, Nazir Ahmad, Sajid Majeed Shah, Ashiq Bashir Najar, jailed Umer Adil Dar, Shabbir Ahmad Ganie, Ajaz Ahmad Butt, Muhammad Altaf Ganie, Manzoor Ahmad Butt and Ahsan Ahmad Butt in Suthsu Kalan, Noorbagh Burhan, Beeroni Kathidarwaza, Nowpora Sekidafar, Lal Bazar, New Theed,in Soiteng and Raniwari areas of the Srinagar city.
The raids were carried out in Srinagar city adjoining localities.
The residences of several individuals were searched, and incriminating material, including documents and digital devices, were seized.
The objective of these operations is to weaken Kashmiris’ pro-freedom sentiments and their genuine demand for right to self-determination.
