Anti-India rally taken out in Kotli to pay tribute to Jammu martyrs
Kotli: An anti-India rally was taken out in Kotli, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, to pay tribute to the martyrs of Jammu.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the speakers addressing the rally organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat and Muhajireen of 1989, reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the mission of Kashmiri martyrs and not to hesitate from any sacrifice in this regard.
They said on November 06, 1947, the Muslims of Jammu were brutally massacred by Hindu extremists and Maharaja Hari Singh’s army in return for their love for Pakistan.
The speakers said despite the atrocities of the Dogra government and Hindu extremists, the Muslims of Jammu continued to raise slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad,” “Pakistan is the center of our hopes” and “A strong and stable Pakistan is the guarantor of the freedom of Kashmiris.”
They said India is illegally occupying Jammu and Kashmir and the international community should play its role for the withdrawal of the Indian army.
The speakers included President of Bar Sardar Aftab Anjum Advocate, PPP leader Naseer Rathore Advocate, Malik Rizwan, Imtiaz Kashmiri, President of Anjuman Tajran Malik Yaqoob, Atif Akram Jaral, Liaquat Mughal Advocate, Hurriyat leader Malik Aslam, Shafi Kashmiri, Yasin Qaiser and others.
At the end of the rally, prayers were offered for the stability of Pakistan, the freedom of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs.
