Indian Air Force aircraft crashes in Chennai
Chennai: An Indian Air Force aircraft has crashed in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Pilatus PC-7 aircraft went down in Chengalpattu district while on a routine training mission. The pilot successfully ejected and escaped unharmed.
A video circulating on social media showed debris strewn across the site, with local residents gathering to witness the scene.
The Indian Air Force later confirmed the crash saying that a probe has been ordered and no damage to life or property had been reported.
