Shooting of National Guard personnel is terrorism: President Trump
Washington: The US President, Donald Trump, has said that the attack on National Guard members is terrorism.
According to Kashmir Media Service, President Donald Trump in a post on social media said the US should re-examine Afghan immigrants who came during the Biden era. He said every refugee who entered the Biden era will be subject to mandatory screening.
According to a foreign news agency, President Trump said the Afghan man involved in the attack on the National Guard will be given exemplary punishment. This suspect came to the United States from Afghanistan in 2021.
He said this heinous attack is an act of hate and terrorism, adding the personnel of National Guard are seriously injured and the suspected shooter has been arrested.
It should be noted that two National Guard personnel have been injured in a shooting near the White House in Washington, who are said to be in critical condition.
According to US officials, the shooting incident took place near Farragut Square, which is located a few blocks from the White House.
According to a briefing by officials, including the FBI director, the suspect in the shooting was taken into custody and the attacker was alone.
