Sopore student found dead in Jammu
Jammu: An undergraduate Kashmiri student was found dead in Jammu city of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the 21-year-old student, who had been staying at a hotel in Jewel Chowk of the city, was found dead with injury marks on his body at a location far from the hotel.
Local reports said Indian agencies along with Hindutva BJP/RSS and Bajrang Dal group abducted the student, Khalid Sharif Butt, killed him and dumped his body in the Vijaypur area, outskirts of the city.
The victim’s family, while talking to the media, said Khalid Sharif Butt has been killed and demanded exemplary punishment for the involved persons.
The killing of the student has caused shock in his hometown, where people have demanded an impartial probe into the death of the youth.
Meanwhile, a massive protest was held against the killing and protesters on the occasion raised high-pitched pro-freedom and anti-India slogans in the area.
