CIK, Indian paramilitary forces launch house raids, searches in IIOJK

Srinagar: Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK), along with Indian paramilitary and police personnel, has launched simultaneous house raids and searches at multiple locations across the Kashmir Valley in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the CIK, in collaboration with Indian paramilitary and police personnel, on Tuesday carried out simultaneous raids at several locations in Pulwama, Budgam, Kulgam, Srinagar, Baramulla, Islamabad and Kupwara districts.

The raids are part of continued Indian state terrorism and atrocities aimed at suppressing the Kashmiris’ demand for the right to self-determination as promised under United Nations resolutions.

The Indian forces, enjoying impunity under draconian laws, claimed that the searches were being conducted in connection with cases registered under the black law, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The house raids and searches were underway at the time of filing this report, and further details are awaited.
