Indian forces intensify cordon and search operations in IIOJK
Srinagar: Indian forces have intensified cordon and search operations in several districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces cordoned off Mansar and adjoining areas in Samba and launched a search operation. The forces have been put on high alert, and the situation is being closely monitored, police said.
Meanwhile, Indian Army and paramilitary personnel have continued cordon and search operations for the third consecutive day in Soan and surrounding villages, including the entire forest areas of Udhampur district. The operations followed an attack in the area in which a Special Operations Group (SOG) officer was killed and two other personnel were injured.
Indian forces also expanded their operations in the Basantgarh and Ramnagar areas of Udhampur district, as well as in areas in the Doda and Kishtwar districts.
Additionally, Indian forces carried out cordon and search operations and house raids in various areas of the Islamabad, Bandipora, Baramulla, and Kupwara districts.
