Massive search operation launched across several villages in IIOJK’s Rajouri
Jammu: Indian forces have launched an extensive search operation across several villages in the Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, joint teams of the 49th Rashtriya Rifles (RR) of the Indian Army and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of police initiated a series of cordon-and-search-operations in several villages between Thanamandi and Manjkote sub-divisions of the district early Friday morning.
An official claimed that the operation was launched following reports of suspicious movement in the area, adding searches are being undertaken aggressively. “Even the Behrote Gali area is being searched,” he said.
As of the latest reports, the operation is going on.
