British journal declares Field Marshal Asim Munir expert in multilateral foreign policy

London: The British journal “Financial Times” has declared Chief of Defence Forces of Pakistan Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir an expert in multilateral foreign policy, saying that Asim Munir has emerged as the most effective strategic leader in the changing global system.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Financial Times in its report said that the changing global politics has opened a new but difficult era for the middle powers and this development is proving to be particularly complicated for the middle powers.

The report said Field Marshal Asim Munir is among the most successful multi-aligners of the middle powers and the honour of being the best compatible with President Trump’s informal style goes to him.

The report said that Field Marshal Asim Munir is a clear example of a successful multilateral strategy for the middle powers. It said that Pakistan’s leadership remained active in the simultaneous contacts among Washington, Beijing, Riyadh and Tehran. Field Marshal Asim Munir has created new diplomatic opportunities for Pakistan in the rapidly changing world politics.

It said Asim Munir effectively advanced Pakistan’s diplomacy in the changing global environment and timely pleasantries and soft diplomatic behavior with Trump proved effective and this diplomatic success of Pakistan disappointed India, it added.

The Financial Times said that the middle power game proved to be more difficult for India than expected. India could not adapt to the changing global situation and Trump’s style, due to this diplomatic failure, India is facing difficulties in its middle power strategy, the report concluded.
