Indian forces launch CASOs in Kishtwar, Poonch districts
Jammu: Indian forces have launched extensive cordon and search operations at various places in Kishtwar and Poonch districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, operations in Kishtwar district concentrated in the Keshwan-Chatroo valley, where Indian forces, assisted by drones and other surveillance equipment, initiated searches. Indian officials claimed that the operation was prompted by reports of suspicious movement in the area.
Separately, the Romeo Force of the Indian Army conducted similar search operations in the Khanetar Top region of Poonch and adjoining areas following alleged suspected movement. The troops were equipped with aerial surveillance support and sniffer dogs.
Operations in both districts were going on till filing of this report.
