11 fire incidents across occupied Kashmir Valley in past 24 hours; property damaged

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, at least 11 fire incidents occurred across different districts of the Kashmir Valley during the past 24 hours, causing significant property damage. Fortunately no casualties have been reported.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire outbreaks took place in Srinagar, Islamabad, Budgam, Pulwama, Kupwara, Bandipora and Ganderbal districts.

In Srinagar, fire gutted one room of a three-storey residential house in the Wazirbagh area near LD Bagh. Additionally, dry grass caught fire near the Royal Spring Golf Course close to Lalit Ghat in the district.

In Islamabad district, a chinar tree caught fire at Mandipora in Dooru, while a cow shed was damaged in Laditahwot area. In Sheikhpora area of Sallar in the district, a residential house was engulfed in flames.

In Budgam, a fire caused by a gas cylinder was reported from Soibugh, while forest trees were damaged in a separate incident in Wazibagh, Char e Sharief area of the district. In Pulwama, two haystacks were completely burned in Gujjar Basti area of Zainapora.

A residential house was damaged by fire in Kachloo area of Qaziabad in Kupwara, while in Bandipora’s Rawalpora Matipota area, another cow shed was severely damaged by fire.

In Ganderbal, a single storey GCI shed was affected by fire in Pehlipora area of Safapora.

Despite widespread damage caused by these incidents, authorities confirmed that no lives were lost in any of the fires.
