Earthquake hits Tajikistan, tremors felt in IIOJK

Srinagar: A moderate earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck the Central Asian country of Tajikistan in the early hours of Friday, sending shock waves as far as Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir at around 2:44am.
According to Kashmir Media Service, there were no reports of loss of life or damage to property at the time of filing this report.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremor occurred at 2:44:16am with its epicenter located at latitude 38.26° North and longitude 73.42° East.
