Police arrest IIOJK’s resident from Ayodhya
Lucknow: A Kashmiri, identified as Abu Ahmed Sheikh, has been detained by the police in Ayodhya, a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the police claimed that Abu Ahmed Sheikh was seen offering prayers inside the Ram temple premises, after which he was detained.
The arrested person is said to be a resident of Shopian district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
After being detained, he has been shifted to the police station.
Police said that Abu Ahmed is being questioned.
