Pakistan’s civil & military leadership on same page on Kashmir: Qasim Noon
Mirpur(AJK): Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, Rana Qasim Noon has said that Pakistan’s civil and military leadership are united on the Kashmir issue, saying that Kashmir is an integral part of Pakistan in every respect and will remain so.
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing a press conference in Mirpur, Rana Qasim Noon said that Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with the Kashmiri people. He said the previous government had sidelined the Kashmir issue. He said that Kashmir is an international dispute, adding that the situations in Gaza and Kashmir are similar, where humanity is being humiliated.
He expressed confidence that Kashmir will soon become a part of Pakistan through implementation of the resolutions of the United Nations on Kashmir, because the relationship between Pakistan and the Kashmiri people was linked to history, sacrifice and joint struggle, which no power on earth can weaken.
He stated that Pakistan wants to once again draw the attention of the United Nations and the international community to the early peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue because it is a recognized international dispute.
