BJP leader R Ashoka seeks action against pro-Khamenei protesters in India

Bengaluru: Bharatiya Janata Party leader R Ashoka has sought legal action against participants of pro-Khamenei processions in Karnataka, calling Ayatollah Ali Khamenei a “dictator”.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the move has raised concerns over freedom of speech across India, with critics saying Ashoka’s statement undermines democratic principles.
Ashoka’s comments come amid protests in Karnataka over Khamenei’s martyrdom. The BJP leader also praised the Modi government’s efforts to bring back Indians from Gulf countries.
