Lawlessness in Haryana’s Nuh as villagers attack police, clashes erupted

Chandigarh: A shocking incident of lawlessness unfolded in Haryana’s Nuh district as villagers attacked a Meghalaya Police team. The police resorted to aerial firing , sparking widespread protests.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the clash occurred when Meghalaya Police were escorting Rahul Khan, a key accused in an ATM robbery case, back to Meghalaya. Villagers, allegedly trying to free the accused, pelted the police with stones, prompting them to open fire.
Tarif, a resident of Shikrawa village, was hit by a bullet in the leg and rushed to Nalhar Medical College. The Meghalaya Police team managed to reach Pinangwan police station with the accused, where local officials are coordinating further action.
A viral video shows police personnel firing during the confrontation, with some villagers alleging excessive use of force.
