Safi greets Pakistan on Pakistan Day
Islamabad : The All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has extended heartfelt greetings to the Government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan Day, reiterating that Pakistan remains a symbol of hope, stability and principled leadership for the region and the Muslim world.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Pakistan holds an important political and ideological position not only in South Asia but across the Muslim world.
Recalling the significance of March 23, 1940, he said the day reflects the collective vision and determination of the Muslims of the subcontinent, who, despite strong opposition and conspiracies, achieved a separate homeland through unity, wisdom and steadfastness.
Ghulam Muhammad Safi highlighted that Pakistan is the only country in the world that continues to extend open and unwavering moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination. He said the Kashmiri people are deeply grateful for this consistent support and always pray for Pakistan’s security, stability and progress.
He emphasized that Pakistan was established on strong ideological foundations, which require every Pakistani to safeguard its core principles, national identity and ideological basis. He added that national unity, economic stability and strong institutions are essential to overcoming challenges and ensuring progress.
