14 killed, 25 injured in Andhra Pradesh road accident
New Delhi: Fourteen people were killed and 25 others injured in a horrific road accident in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred as a result of a collision between a passenger bus and a dumper.
Immediately after the collision, a fire broke out in the bus, due to which several passengers were burnt alive. The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.
According to Indian media, the accident occurred at around 6:00 am when a bus, carrying Hindu pilgrims from Nirmal to Nellore in Telangana, collided with a dumper.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of Markapuram Nag Raju told the media that an investigation has been launched into the accident.
