8 burnt alive in Andhra Pradesh bus fire
New Delhi: A devastating bus accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Markapuram district has claimed 8 lives, with 18 others injured. The bus collided with a gravel-loaded tipper, sparking a fire that engulfed the vehicle.
According to police, the injured are receiving treatment, while rescue teams are working to identify victims and inform their families. Some bodies remain trapped inside the burnt bus, complicating retrieval efforts.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has expressed grief over the tragedy. Authorities are gathering more information on the incident.
