Srinagar:Indian forces martyr Kashmiri youth in fake encounter in Ganderbal
Srinagar:Indian forces personnel, in a fresh act of Indian state terrorism, martyred a Kashmiri youth in Ganderbal district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian Army, paramilitary forces and the dreaded Special Operations Group launched a cordon and search operation on Tuesday and killed the youth in a fake encounter in the Arahama area of the district.
Indian Army officials, justifying the killing of the youth, claimed that the operation was launched by the Army, paramilitary forces and police on Tuesday evening following specific intelligence inputs regarding the presence of militants in the area.
In a post on X, the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army said the cordon was tactically reorganised during the night amidst intermittent firing. “The operation is in progress,” the post read.
A top police officer said that a joint team of the Army, CRPF and police launched a search operation in Arahama woods after receiving input about the presence of militants in the area.
