BJP govt hits common man, Kharge slams ‘looting’

New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has slammed the BJP government for its “mismanagement” of the economy, citing rising prices of essentials like LPG, air travel, and medicines.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Kharge tweeted that the Modi government has “dismantled” India’s economic policies, leading to a surge in prices. He highlighted increases in commercial LPG, aviation turbine fuel, and healthcare costs, making air travel and healthcare “elusive dreams” for many. He said the BJP leadership is focused on “looting the public and plundering the nation” while ignoring the struggles of citizens, farmers, laborers, and MSME industries.

The remarks come after Indian Oil Corporation raised premium fuel prices and commercial LPG rates.
