Mirwaiz warns of ‘dangerous and inhuman’ global situation
Hurriyat leader blames Israel-US nexus for escalating tensions in West Asia

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed grave concern over the prevailing global situation, stating that the Israel-US nexus has pushed the world to a “dangerous and inhuman pass,” marked by rising threats and disregard for international law.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in a statement issued in Srinagar, strongly criticized recent remarks attributed to the American leadership, terming them “too disgraceful to warrant a response.” He said such statements reflect growing frustration and warned that threats targeting entire nations or civilizations signal a deeply alarming shift in global discourse.
The APHC leader said the ongoing tensions in West Asia have exposed what he described as a dangerous alliance driven by hegemonic ambitions and hatred. He maintained that the Israel-US nexus, along with its supporters, has created a situation where open calls for mass destruction and violence are being made with complete impunity, undermining fundamental human values and international norms.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq further emphasized that silence in the face of such developments amounts to complicity, urging the international community to take immediate and meaningful steps to prevent further escalation. He called for urgent global intervention to halt what he described as the “madness” and to ensure an end to the ongoing aggression in the territory.
He reiterated that the world stands at a critical juncture, where failure to act decisively could have catastrophic consequences, stressing the need for collective efforts to uphold justice, peace, and respect for human life.
