Eight youth arrested in Sopore over protest against molestation of girl student

Srinagar: Indian forces, in their fresh act of state terrorism, have arrested over eight youth, including students, in Sopore town of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were arrested by Indian forces during a series of night-long house raids in the town. The arrested youth had taken part in a peaceful protest led by students at Government Girls Higher Secondary School against the molestation of a girl student in the school.
The Indian forces, hiding the truth and trying to suppress protests, have dubbed the protesting students as miscreants and arrested them under the black law of unlawful activities. The house raids and searches continued, aiming to arrest over two dozen more who took part in the protest.
The draconian law, AFSPA, remains in force in IIOJK, giving Indian forces a free hand to barge into houses, arrest, and kill anyone without any reason.
