Gun battle erupts in Manipur’s Ukhrul
Imphal, : An intense gun battle erupted in Sinakeithei village of Manipur’s Ukhrul district last evening after armed Kuki militants opened fire from a bunker constructed on Lungter Hill.
According to Kashmir Media Service, one villager sustained a bullet injury to the heel during the firing by the militants. The situation remains tense in the village as it has come under repeated attacks in recent days, leaving residents in a state of fear and insecurity.
