Mirwaiz expresses grief over multiple deaths in IIOJK

Srinagar: Senior APHC leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed grief over multiple bereavements in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Mirwaiz condoled the demise of the wife of late Moulvi Waiz Asadullah Shah of Rawalpora, a respected member and relative of the Mirwaiz family.

Paying tribute, he described her as a pious and God-fearing woman. He visited Rawalpora to offer condolences to the bereaved family, especially to Mr Saeed Mohammad Shah and Dr Mohammad Rafi Jan, and prayed for her eternal abode in Jannah.

The Mirwaiz also condoled the passing of Ghulam Nabi Najar’s elderly mother of Tangmarg; Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Sofi, brother of Nusratul Islam trust member Nazir Ahmad Sofi of Islamabad district; Nisar Ahmad Khan, cousin of journalist Muzaffar Ahmad Khan; and young Mohammad Zameen Wani, son of Shaukat Ahmad Wani of Kathi Darwaza, Srinagar, who died in a road accident.

Praying for the departed, the Mirwaiz sought Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for them, the highest place in Jannah, and patience for the bereaved families.
