Indian Army’s Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth to be next Army Chief
New Delhi: Indian Army’s Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth will be the next Chief of the Army Staff.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Lt Gen Seth, who is currently serving as Vice Chief of the Army Staff, will take charge of the top position on June 30 when incumbent Gen Upendra Dwivedi retires, the Indian defence ministry announced.
The senior officer was commissioned into the Armoured Corps in December 1986. He has commanded the South Western Command and the Southern Command.
