Hanif Abbasi reaffirms Pakistan’s steadfast political, diplomatic and moral support for IIOJK people
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Sunday reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast political, diplomatic and moral support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), saying that their struggle for freedom and right to self-determination could not be suppressed by force.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi in a message on Accession to Pakistan Day, observed on July 19, said the day symbolized the renewal of Pakistan’s commitment to the Kashmiri people’s just struggle for freedom and their internationally recognized right to self-determination.
He said every citizen of Pakistan stood shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and would continue extending unwavering support to their legitimate cause.
Hanif Abbasi stressed that a just and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, was essential for ensuring lasting peace and stability in South Asia.
He urged the international community to take immediate notice of the ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and fulfill its responsibility by helping ensure the Kashmiri people are granted their inalienable right to self-determination.
The minister reiterated that Pakistan would continue extending diplomatic, political and moral support to the Kashmiri people at every international forum.
He said the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people would not go in vain, adding that Pakistan would always stand by their legitimate struggle for freedom.
Hanif Abbasi said Accession to Pakistan Day served as a reminder to further strengthen the nation’s resolve and solidarity with the people of Kashmir in their quest for justice, peace and self-determination.
