Indian Army restricts locals in Kupwara’s Lolab valley
Srinagar: Indian Army personnel, as part of state terrorism, restricted and harassed locals, preventing them from grazing their animals and collecting vegetables in nearby forest areas of Kupwara district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, locals told media persons that the Indian Army has made their lives miserable and created fear in Dewar, Anderbug, Dardpora, Lalpora, Tikpora, Doras, Chanigam, Sugam, and Lachipora areas of Lolab in the district.
The Indian Army is not allowing them to graze their animals or collect vegetables in nearby forest areas. The forces have restricted the entry of all locals and have set up war-like camps in these areas, which has created fear and tension across the entire Lolab valley.
