Indian policeman killed in attack during operation in IIOJK
Srinagar : An Indian policeman was killed in an attack during a cordon and search operation in Islamabad district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the police personnel was critically injured in a firing incident during a cordon and search operation in the Lal Chowk area of the district on Wednesday. However, later the policeman succumbed to his injuries
The cordon and search operation continued till last reports came in.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his residence in the Wayil Wudder area of Ganderbal district during the intervening night of July 21 and 22. The deceased has been identified as Farhan Ahmad Khan, a resident of Wayil Wudder.
