IIOJK under occupation of world’s largest terrorist force: Mushaal Hussein Mullick
Islamabad: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of jailed Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, has said that Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) remains under the occupation of the world’s largest terrorist force.
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing a Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir event in Islamabad, Mushaal Hussein Mullick said India has granted citizenship to around 1.5 million Indians in the occupied territory as part of its demographic agenda. She said despite continued repression, the Kashmiri people remain steadfast in their struggle for their UN-recognized right to self-determination.
She said India has committed grave human rights violations in IIOJK, adding that international media and human rights organizations have published numerous reports highlighting the deteriorating situation in the occupied territory. She maintained that since August 5, 2019, the Modi government has barred international media access to IIOJK and imposed severe restrictions to suppress the truth.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick further said India is also engaged in “judicial terrorism” against Kashmiris. She said thousands of Kashmiri women have been widowed and thousands of Kashmiris remain imprisoned in Indian jails, but stressed that no force can deter the Kashmiri people from pursuing their fundamental right to self-determination.
She said the desire for freedom from Indian slavery is deeply embedded in every Kashmiri’s psyche and added that India was also involved in human trafficking in the occupied territory. She said that despite political differences within Pakistan, support for the Kashmiri people remains unwavering.
Mushaal Mullick also said Pakistan has pursued effective military diplomacy under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and stressed the need for greater national unity. She said she and her daughter have been denied visas to several countries due to the influence of the Indian lobby, adding that India does not want the voice of the people of IIOJK to reach the international community.
