Islamabad: The ever-strengthening partnership between Pakistan and China has shattered India’s dream of establishing its hegemony in South Asia.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a report by the international media outlet “DW” has said that China’s growing regional influence has shattered India’s decades-old dream of establishing its hegemony in South Asia.
According to the report, Bangladesh’s request for cooperation from China on a river project near the Siliguri Corridor is a cause of concern for India.
According to the report, China has increased its economic and strategic influence in South Asia by building ports from Pakistan to Sri Lanka. India believes that the growing network of Chinese projects in South Asia could become a challenge to its security in the future.
The military partnership between China and Pakistan has expanded to include fighter jets, submarines, drones, satellites and air defense systems.
The May 2025 Indo-Pakistan conflict made the growing potential of China-Pakistan military cooperation clear to the world. China’s economic power and extensive investment have shattered India’s dream of regional dominance in South Asia.
China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has connected western China to the Arabian Sea through the Gwadar port.
According to experts, due to the Modi government’s failed foreign policy, China is strong in the region, while India is strategically weak and diplomatically isolated.
The strong partnership with China and CPEC have made Pakistan a central strategic and economic power in South Asia.
