Indian Army man drowns in river in IIOJK
Srinagar: An Indian army man drowned in the river in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian army man, identified as Ashiq Hussain Khan, drowned in the river near Tarbal village in Gurez area of the district.
Following the incident, a rescue operation was launched and his body was retrieved from the river.
The body was later shifted to Dawar Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police have registered a case to ascertain the circumstances leading to the drowning.
