IIOJK: BSF Assistant Commandant dies in mysterious circumstances in Kupwara
Srinagar: An Assistant Commandant of India’s Border Security Force (BSF) died under mysterious circumstances after being found unconscious in Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The BSF officer was found unconscious and unresponsive in the Doban area of Kupwara, officials said. He was immediately shifted for medical assistance, but doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death. The exact cause of death has not been established, and further details are awaited.
