Muslim cleric brutally murdered in Ajmer mosque
New Delhi: A 30-year-old Muslim cleric, Maulvi Mohammad Mahir, was brutally murdered by three masked assailants in Ajmer’s Kanchan Nagar area of Rajasthan, India, on Monday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the attackers entered the mosque where the cleric resided, killed him, and traumatized six children who were with him.
The assailants used sticks to attack the cleric and fled with his mobile phone. The local community is in fear and outrage, demanding justice for the victim. The preliminary reports suggest three masked individuals were involved in the attack.
