Two Bangladeshis killed by BSF along India border
Dhaka: In an ongoing spate of Bangladeshis’ killings along border with India, two Bangladeshi nationals were shot dead by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the victims, identified as Jolil (24) and Yeasin Ali (23), hailed from Magura village under Tetulia upazila, Bangladesh.
The incident occurred in the Khoikhatpara border area of Tetulia upazila earlier this morning. The families of the deceased said that the BSF members took away the bodies following the shooting.
Confirming the incident, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sujoy Chandra Roy of Tetulia Model Police Station stated that the BSF shot dead the two Bangladeshis. The bodies were taken by the BSF personnel.
The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the Bangladeshi people.
