5 dead, 2 injured in blaze in UP’s Ghaziabad
Lucknow: Five people were killed and two others were injured in a fire in BJP ruled Uttar Pardesh state.
According to Kashmir Media Service, five people were killed and two others were injured when the fire broke out in a residential building in Behta Hajipur under the Loni Border police station area of Ghanziabad city of the state.
According to preliminary investigation, a short circuit led to the fire, police said.
The incident highlighted concerns about fire safety and emergency response measures in the BJP-ruled state.
