AAP says BJP conspiring to kill Kejriwal in jail
New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is putting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s health in jeopardy while he is lodged in Tihar jail, New Delhi.
According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing a press conference in New Delhi, AAP’s Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh stated that Kejriwal’s medical report indicates a high risk to his health, and anything can happen at any time. He questioned the BJP’s intentions, saying, “Why would someone compromise his own life?”
Singh said, “There is a conspiracy to kill Kejriwal in jail.” He also criticized Lt Governor VK Saxena’s communication, which suggested that Kejriwal was deliberately making himself sick.
The AAP leader said that the BJP is hatching a “sinister plan to kill” Kejriwal. The party also refuted allegations that Kejriwal was refusing food and medication, citing a report by Tihar Jail’s Superintendent that claimed Kejriwal had instances of “willful low-calorie intake” despite being provided with sufficient home-cooked food.
