Muslim man beaten to death in broad daylight in Uttar Pradesh
Kanpur: A 30-year-old Muslim man, Sahil Paswan, was brutally beaten to death with iron rods in broad daylight by a Hindu group on a busy street in Kanpur’s Shastri Chowk area.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Sahil’s sister, Muskan, was a key witness in a case against notorious history-sheeters who are out on bail. The accused dragged Sahil out of his home and assaulted him with iron rods. A disturbing video of the incident has gone viral.
Police received information and rushed Sahil to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Notably, the victim’s family had filed a complaint at the police station just a day before the incident.
The Kanpur police have registered a murder case and arrested four persons: Vishal, Vivek, Vikram, and Akshay.
