Srinagar: A tragic incident occurred at the picturesque Doodhpathri tourist spot in the Khansahib area of Budgam district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir late last night, resulting in the death of a septuagenarian tourist and injuring another.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official told the media that Abdul Malik, a 70-year-old tourist, lost his life after slipping while attempting to take a selfie at the scenic location.
Naseema Khatoon, a companion from Kolkata, was injured in the same incident and is currently receiving medical attention.
The victims lost their footing while navigating the slippery terrain, leading to the fatal fall.
