Hurriyat delegation meets Sindh CM; Reaffirms to mark October 27 a Black Day with fervor

Karachi: A delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Azad Kashmir branch met Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah here on Wednesday aimed to mark October 27 as Black Day with fervor.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation led by Hurriyat convener Ghulam Mohammad Safi in its meeting to Sindh CM has revealed that they are grateful to the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for its support to Kashmiris on every front.

Hurriyat Convener G M Safi emphasized on calling an All Parties Conference on IIOJK so that the national solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris can be fully demonstrated. However, the Hurriyat Conference wants to highlight the dispute of Jammu and Kashmir on international forums to gain world popular support for right of self determination of Kashmiri nation.

The Hurriyat leader said that there is a special mention of Kashmir in the PPP manifesto as the party utilized all energies for peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute.

In the meeting, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah assured full support of Sindh government and PPP to express solidarity with Kashmiri people on the occasion of October 27, the Black Day of Kashmir history.

He said that the government and the people of Sindh have always stood with the Kashmiri people in their struggle for freedom and will continue to support the right of self-determination of Kashmiris against Indian oppression.

Sindh CM was of the view he foundation of PPP came into being because of the Kashmir issue. “Freedom of Kashmir is part of our faith and. October 27 Black Kashmir Day will be observed with fervor to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people”, he added.

He went on to say that martyr Ms. Benazir Bhutto had included the Hurriyat Conference as an observer group in OIC and has been highlighted Kashmir issue globally. The Kashmir issue is not only the problem of the Kashmiri people, but the problem of the entire Muslim Ummah and Pakistan as well.

The Hurriyat delegation was including as Pervez Ahmad Shah, Syed Ejaz Rahmani, Abdul Majid Sheikh and Abdul Hameed Lone.
