BJP favoring big business, ignoring poor farmers: Rahul Gandhi

Gondia: At an election rally in Gondia,Maharashtra, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized the BJP government, accusing it of prioritizing big industrialists over struggling farmers.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Rahul said that Prime Minister Modi has waived Rs 16 lakh crore in loans for major businesses while offering no similar relief to small farmers.

Gandhi questioned the intent behind the three repealed farm laws, which he argued were never in farmers’ interests, citing massive protests against them as proof. He also pledged that the Congress-Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance would ensure fair MSPs for soybean, cotton, and paddy farmers in Maharashtra.

He promised increased support for marginalized groups, a caste census, and a push to raise reservation caps. Gandhi condemned the BJP-RSS for what he called an assault on India’s Constitution, asserting Congress’s commitment to equality and justice.

Rahul Gandhi will continue campaigning in Maharashtra with additional rallies planned before the November 20 polls.
